The
School Nutrition Association (SNA) is the only professional association dedicated solely to the support and well being of school nutrition professionals in advancing good nutrition for all children.
The Utah affiliate and local chapters of SNA provide additional opportunities for professional growth, leadership and recognition while emphasizing local unity and support among our members. Membership will provide you to a variety of
Member Benefits, as well as discounted registration fees to the various
Professional Development opportunities SNA of Utah offers.
To
join SNA of Utah, you must also become a member of the national association. During the registration process, be sure to specify Utah as your state and identify which chapter affiliate (school district) you belong to.
Dues and membership information is processed at the national level, but SNA Utah Association Services is here to help with any registration or membership issues as they arise.
You may contact the SNA of Utah Membership Chair, Kathy Torok
SNA now offers two different types of member ownership: Individual and School District Owned. Individual means you own your membership and it is transferrable if you leave your current school district. School District Owned means the School District you work in owns the membership and if the person who is using the membership leaves the district, it can be transferred to a another employee. School districts can pay membership dues for its members whether that membership is individually owned OR district owned.
