Meet our 2020-2021 SNAU Vice-President Amy Woolsey
Amy is currently the Child Nutrition Supervisor at Ogden School District and has spent the past 6 years working in child nutrition. During this time Amy has also worked for child nutrition programs at the Utah State Board of Education and for Box Elder School District. While there have been challenging days Amy can honestly say that she has been so grateful for everyday that she has been able to work in Child Nutrition. Amy received her Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University majoring in Health Promotion and Administration. She joined SNA in 2015 and received her SNS credentials and level 4 certification in 2018. Amy is appreciative of the resources and advocacy that being a member of SNA and provides to Child Nutrition professionals. Amy is very excited to step into her new role as Vice President of SNAU. She knows that it will challenge her in the best ways and looks forward to working with everyone committed to the same goal of providing access to nutritious school meals to all children. Amy lives in Ogden with her husband Ryan and their two children Eden and Heath. Amy enjoys skiing, mtn. biking, running, baking and most importantly spending time with her family.
